Biography

Dr. Angelo Marangini graduated with honours in Dentistry at the Università degli studi di Napoli Federico II, Naples, in 1988. He gained his Post-graduate Scientific Specialization in Periodontal Reconstructive Surgery in 1989. He held an Implant Dentistry course for the Anchor Implant System at the Università degli Studi in Bari with Professor M. Piatelli and Doctor Harold Bergman from the University of Toronto, Canada. In 2005 he specialized with honours in the Laser Terapy Use and defended his thesis “Applicazioni cliniche in odontostomatologia Del Laser a diodi” (Diode laser clinical applications in odontostomatology) at the San Martino Hospital, Università degli Studi in Genoa (DI.S.T.BI. MO.), Biophysical Medical and Dentistry Sciences and Technologies Department, with Professor Alberico Benedicenti. Since 1999 has been referent for the Mac Implant System (currently MCbio) and becomes a stakeholder making his contribution to the taper connection evolution. Since 2008 Dr. Marangini has been called by the International Academy for Immediate Loading (IAFIL) in order to represent the Immediate Loading technique at regional level. He is currently working as an Oral Surgery and Implantologist in private and external practices. Dr. Marangini works also as a speaker at various national and international courses and congresses. Since 2015 he has held the role of Scientific Coordinator in Evokare guiding the scientific development of the "Evokare Implant Revolution". He developed the scientific protocols, tested and patented the new system with both the use of the intraoral welder and the use of cement.
