Biography

Dr. Shahdad Ayoughi graduated from the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Dentistry in 1991. He started his first 9 years of practice in private practice, after finishing mandatory years’ service in army. In 1999 Dr. Ayoughi started his career in implant dentistry and graduated from the Misch Implant Institute and Temple University in 2002. Dr. Ayoughi was asked to start a surgical training course for European dentists who wanted to start their Implant practice in 2006. Dr. Ayoughi provides professional instruction in both implant surgery and prosthodontics for number dentists in Canada and Europe. The surgical instruction that is provided in these surgical training programs include bone grafting procedures (sinus elevation grafts), implant surgery (root form and Subperiosteal implants), and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Ayoughi has made substantial contributions to his profession and has lectured internationally since 2003 in Europe and North America. Dr. Ayoughi resides in West Vancouver, Canada, and maintains couple of private practice devoted cosmetic and implants dentistry
